The R4DT is 4 miles and the course is USATF Certified (NY-07030-JG).
Of Course! We encourage runners and walkers of all abilties to participate. Walkers will have the opportunity to start at 8:45, so that they will finish with the runners (Be careful though - roads on the course will not be closed at this time).
Although you may register the day of the event, we ask that, if possible, you take advantage of the reduced rates associated with advance registration. See our registration page for more information.
The first six finishers, regardless of gender, win cash awards - don't forget that females are starting 4:52 before males! First place earns $400, second $300, third $200, fourth $100, fifth $75 and sixth $50. New this year is a $200 prize for any male or female setting their gender's respective course records (19:05 and 22:43).
Sorry our insurance carrier prohibits participants from bringing both dogs and baby joggers to the R4DT.
Of course everyone is encouraged to come to the party. With a donation of $10, adults will recieve a wristband that will allow full access to the Taste of the Towns and Poor Bobby's Hard Times Tavern Post Race Party. Children 13 and under are free and do not need a wristband.
